[Prestashop help] How to edit footer blocks of classic theme in Prestashop 1.7 default theme?

In Prestashop classic theme (a default Prestashop 1.7 theme after installed a Prestashop 1.7 store), the Footer container included blocks

So How to modify this footer: add new blocks, move blocks, remove a block… in footer?

Where is template file (*.tpl) use for output Footer blocks?

You can view source of template file *.tpl that output footer blocks at the file:

PRESTASHOP_ROOT\themes\classic\templates\_partials\footer.tpl

How to find all of Prestashop modules that display in Footer?

Go to Prestashop Backoffice > Design > Positions, view all of modules that display in Footer from 3 positions:

displayFooterBefore
displayFooter
displayFooterAfter

How to move, remove a block in Footer?

In a position (ex: displayFooter), you can click arrow up & arrow down or Drag & Drop to moving the order of blocks.

Click Unhook for remove a block. Note: Unhook a module make it does not display in a position, But that module still is working in another position and the module still be actived

How to edit Products, Our Company blocks?

The Prestashop 1.7 use “Link List” module to manage links in there blocks. Go to Modules > Module Manager, click Configure “Link List” module to edit links

If you want edit HTML source of there links, you can open it’s template file *.tpl at

PRESTASHOP_ROOT\themes\classic\modules\ps_linklist\views\templates\hook\linkblock.tpl

How to edit Your Account block in Footer?

The Prestashop 1.7 use “My Account block” module to manage links in this block. Go to Modules > Module Manager, find “My Account block” module.
